Summary

Team Leader - Residential Parenting Assessments
Location: Sawbridgeworth
Salary: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour


We are looking for a dedicated Team Leader to join a specialised center in Sawbridgeworth that focuses on independent parenting assessments, helping families thrive and grow. Established in 2017, this respected center offers 12-week residential assessments, with the guidance and support of qualified social workers and a dedicated family support team.


As Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting a team to deliver outstanding, person-centered care. You'll ensure the well-being and safety of families while overseeing the smooth operation of the center. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of families in a supportive and rewarding environment.


Key Responsibilities:
* Lead team shifts, oversee family activities, and provide ongoing wellbeing support to residents.
* Ensure accurate documentation of family assessments, placement plans, reports, and chronologies.
* Collaborate with social workers, attend meetings, and supervise night staff.
* Conduct regular medication audits, health and safety checks, and incident reporting.
* Participate in the on-call rota and maintain OFSTED notifications as required.
* Offer leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring high standards of care and service.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in family support, social care, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations and offer support to both staff and residents.
  • Commitment to delivering person-centered care and fostering a positive environment for families.
  • Driving Licence and own a car.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care - Children and Young People.
