Working hours - 39.5 per week / early finish Fridays

Are you an experienced Design Engineer with a strong background in CAD and product development? We are seeking a motivated individual to join an established business, working on a range of projects from concept to production.

Our client is a market-leading engineering and manufacturing company known for delivering high-quality, certified solutions to clients worldwide. **Due to upcoming projects, there is an opportunity to progress into a leadership role**

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Work closely with customers and internal teams to develop and refine product designs.
✔ Produce detailed dimensional and technical drawings.
✔ Generate bills of materials and ensure accurate documentation.
✔ Support manufacturing teams, prioritising work as required.
✔ Liaise with external certification bodies where necessary.
✔ Investigate and resolve design and quality-related issues.
✔ Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures.

What We're Looking For:

Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Experience in developing product designs from specification to final production.
  • Design for manufacture expertise.
  • Knowledge of materials and fabrication methods.

Soft Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with quality standards (ISO9001 beneficial).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
