Crynodeb
The University Secretary’s Office of the University of South Wales is the central function with oversight for University Governance, Legal Services and Compliance. USO is led by the University Secretary. This role sits within the Legal Services Team who report to the University Secretary through the General Counsel and Deputy University Secretary.
Based at Pontypridd (with opportunity to travel to Cardiff and Newport), this role will provide you with a role where you will work closely with partners in Faculties, Finance, Partnerships, Procurement, Commercial Services, Learning Services and RISE, to offer a central and effective co-ordination of contracting requirements to support the management of contract engagements for services with third parties and Commercial contracting support.
The role will facilitate the day-to-day high-level administration and processes to ensure that assigned contracts are acquired, managed, evaluated, negotiated and accessed, efficiently and effectively for the University. The role will be a liaison between Legal Services, Faculties, Learning Services, Commercial, Research & Innovation and the relevant procurement and finance business partners to support and assist the efficient creation and management of contracting processes, working with a procurement business partner to align to established procurement processes.
This is a part time, permanent post.
