Summary

Ipswich Borough Council’s Park Protection Team are responsible for ensuring the safety of visitors and upkeep of all parks & open spaces around Ipswich seven days a week.

The hours that we require cover are evenings as we move into the warmer months and weekends.

Our work is not only limited to parks, it also extends to allotments, cemeteries, play areas and recreation grounds. Whether it be deterring antisocial behaviour, locking and unlocking parks, litter picking, dealing with public enquires, working alongside other departments or carrying out play area inspections; no two days are the same.

If you are someone who likes working outside, enjoys parks and open spaces with a full driving licence we would welcome your application.

You will be quick thinking and able to use your own initiative. Long distances on foot patrol are required. A full driving licence is essential.
