Our services in Warrington are growing and we have a fantastic opportunity for someone who's passionate about person-centred care to join us as an Assistant Locality Manager, where you will be supporting people with autism, learning disabilities and complex behavioural and emotional needs to live their lives how they choose.

This role is ideal for people who want to grow professionally and take on more responsibility whilst still being able to provide the direct support that's so incredibly rewarding - it's the best of both worlds!

This is a full-time position where you will be working 37.5 hours per week, with 37.5 hours in the office. You will be required to be on call and work flexibly on the rota that includes days, sleepovers, waking nights and weekends.

The total annual pay for the role is £35,618.88 made up of a basic salary of £30,972.94 plus an additional 15% annual allowance for 37.5 hours off rota £4,645.94.

What will I be doing?

- You will be supporting the Locality Manager to guide and motivate your team, to ensure we are providing a quality service in line with Dimensions values, policies and practices

- You will be working with relatives and outside agencies such as health professionals, social workers, and advocates to meet the needs of the people we support

- You will be establishing and monitoring service budgets

- You will be managing person-centred rotas and the recruitment of new team members

- You will be leading by example and being a positive role model for your team

- You will be delivering direct support during your on rota hours

What will I need?

- You will need to have previous experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and people who display behaviours of distress

- You will need the ability to prioritise workload, manage your own time, delegate tasks, and meet deadlines

- You will need to have up-to-date knowledge of the personalisation agenda and Active Support provision

- You will need the personality to develop positive working relationships across Dimensions - including the people we support, their families, internal colleagues, and external agencies

- You will need to have the willingness to work towards a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care/Leadership and Management for Care Services
