HSE ADVISOR
Carbon60 are looking for a Regional HSE Advisor to work in the Glasgow University buildings. This is an excellent opportunity to join a massive construction company working for the public sector.
ROLE: HSE Advisor
SALARY: £45,000 per annum
JOB TYPE: 12 months fix term contract
LOCATION: Glasgow University (on site)
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm
THE ROLE:
- You are responsible for all ensuring that all sites and field workers within your Business Unit are compliant with HSE requirements.
- Reporting to Operational Management on good performance / best practice and deficiencies identified.
- Provision of key support with regards to development and implementation of improvement actions, initiatives, and plans.
- Assisting in the management of environmental responsibility in compliance.
- Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses and sharing lessons learned.
- Reviewing RAMS, CPPs etc.
- Ensuring compliance with UK Health and Safety Legislation/ CDM Regulations / Client standards.
- You will ensure CASPER is updated regularly and ensure HSE requirements are completed in a timely manner.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
- Proven track record as a HSE Advisor.
- Solid understanding of CDM - Construction Design Management Regulations 2015.
- CSCS card
- NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction Certificate
