Summary
APS Produce Ltd specialises in the production and supply of top-quality tomatoes and other fresh produce.
We are currently recruiting for seasonal Packhouse Operatives our site in Camblesforth, Selby.
Working in the Packhouse, you will pack fresh produce to the quality and specification required by the customer. Previous experience is not required as full training provided.
Duties:
-Sorting/packing produce as per required specification
-Completing orders as directed
-Ensuring high standards of food safety are adhered to
-Follow all food hygiene protocol, adopting a clean-as-you-go approach
-Conducting basic quality checks
-Manual handling duties
Skills and experience
Essential:
-A good level of spoken and written English
-A great team player
-Good attention to detail
-Excellent food hygiene standards
-Flexible approach to hours and days worked as well as location within production area
-Able to work under pressure
Desirable:
-Previous packing experience
-Previous experience working in FMCG (fast moving consumable goods)
These are seasonal roles starting in March 2025 and expected to last until the end of November 2025
-Working hours are 40 per week, 8 hours per day
-Working 5 days out of 7 per week
-Weekend working as and when required
