We are seeking to recruit an experienced LSA to take on the role of Cover Supervisor for four days a week, who will be available to cover classes across the school when needed, either due to teacher absence or to enable teacher release time.Powell Corderoy is a small, single-form entry primary school with a strong sense of community set in an absolutely stunning site with oodles of outside space and breathtaking views of the Surrey Hills. The pupils are interested and interesting- the best thing about our lovely school- and are looking forward to meeting prospective candidates for a role which has just become available.The successful person will need to be highly motivated and flexible, able to adapt at short notice and communicate well with a wide team. Experience of whole class teaching across a range of year groups is essential. When class cover is not required, you will support learning in classes as needed, under the direction of the Headteacher. You will receive plenty of training and support from the school’s leadership team, and we would be willing to support the right candidate with future SCITT training, should you wish to pursue this route into teaching.The staff team at Powell are very close, welcoming and supportive of one another - we work together with the shared goal of providing the best experiences we can for the children in our care.
