Summary

Production Supervisor - Concrete Manufacturing

Location: Plymstock
Salary: £43,000 - £48,000 (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (48 hours/week, 5 days)

Are you an experienced Production Supervisor looking for your next opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are hiring a Production Supervisor to lead operations at our busy concrete production site in Plymstock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily production processes, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output.
  • Supervise and support staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain health and safety standards, completing necessary reports and checks.
  • Conduct machine inspections and basic maintenance to reduce downtime.
  • Ensure all outbound deliveries meet quality control standards.
  • Provide operational cover for breaks, holidays, and absences (training provided).
  • Accurately complete HR and payroll returns for Head Office.
  • Attend training as required to enhance skills and knowledge.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or concrete products.
  • Strong mechanical or electrical knowledge.
  • Proven ability to lead a small team effectively.
  • Practical problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Computer literate with good communication skills.
  • Punctual, hardworking, and enthusiastic.
  • Full UK driving license required.
