Lord Hardy Court Residential Home

Casual, zero hours contract, may include weekend working to provide cover as and when required at the home.

Lord Hardy Court provides care to 60 older people, with a range of individual needs, and Mental Health problems including Dementia. The home also provides hospital avoidance beds.

Applicants ideally need experience in a social care setting. And have Level 5 Qualification e.j Diplomas of HE and FE foundation degrees and HNDs plus Experience in relevant areas of work over a period of years.

Shift Leaders are expected to contribute to the provision of a comfortable, stimulating homely environment, that meets CQC Fundamental l Standards of Care, maintain health and Safety and Dignity in Care Principles

Shift Leaders are also expected to contribute and develop a customer focused service that is responsive and flexible regarding all customer needs. To ensure person centred plans and risk assessments are carried out to the required standard. To work and support the night care staff on shift across all units.

Lord Hardy Court operates a shift system on a rota basis, this includes weekends, bank holidays, and cover is required up to 37hrs for leave and sickness.
