Summary
Psych Grad TA - Blackpool:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a recent psychology graduate to join a lovely primary school near to Blackpool. You will be supporting KS1 pupils in small groups with learning activities. This is a full time position to start ASAP.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
- Maintaining regular communication with the class teacher to monitor progress of the students
- Preparing learning resources and activities
- Building rapport with parents, students and staff
Position Details:
- Position: Psych Grad TA
- Location: Blackpool
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Hours: 8:20am-3:20pm
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: 24/02/2025
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Psychology degree is essential for this position
- Previous experience working with children
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
