Manpower have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join a Public Sector department as a Patient Access Administrator on a temporary basis.
The role is full time 37.5 hours per week, across Monday - Friday and you'll be paid £12.31 in return for your hard work.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing efficient and high quality appointment/ reception/ admin services within the Imaging and Nuclear Medicine Dept.
- Ensuring Patients are accurately registered and processed on the Radiology Info System and Patient Admin System, meaning they have the ability to be booked onto appointments when necessary
- Answering complex queries in person and on the phone
- Provide and receive complicated and sensitive information, and give explanations/ instructions clearly and concisely to Patients where barriers may exist including challenging behaviour, learning disabilities or recent bereavements.
- Use Empathy and diplomacy in dealing with members of the public or other staff members
- Ensure accurate input of patient and referral details when registering on the Radiology Info System or Patient Admin System
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times and the adherence to Caldicott and the Data Protection Act.
- Liaise with other departments and stakeholders to ensure a smooth running of the department

The role will have a short interview process and if you are successful you'll be subject to Government standard vetting including a Standard DBS.
