Salary: £11.50 - £13 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, includes 24-hour shift pattern, weekends, and bank holidays

We are seeking a compassionate Residential Support Worker for a residential service dedicated to supporting young children. This role focuses on providing a safe, supportive, and structured environment to help families reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with team members and external professionals to guide young people towards their placement goals.
  • Record and monitor progress, supporting young people with practical life skills.
  • Encourage positive behaviours and maintain a safe environment.
  • Provide transportation for appointments.
  • Maintain professional boundaries while promoting constructive relationships within the service.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Skills: Strong communication, resilience, flexibility, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work toward this).
  • Experience: Prior experience with vulnerable children/young people.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Driving Licence: Essential (business insurance on vehicle required).
