Are you able to support a 46 year old with physical disability in Alexandria - needs support with all aspects of care & to live life to the full both in there home & in the community!
Are you –
* able to drive with CLEAN Drivers licenseif you can not drive or do not have clean drivers license do not apply.
flexible & able to work weekdays/weekends/evenings
* imaginative & motivated, with a good sense of humor?
* able to work as part of a team & follow directions as to how support is to be provided?
* a good communicator with the ability to allow someone the time to make their own choices & be in control of their own life
Experience is desirable particularly around support planning/risk assessment & researching rehabilitation opportunities - & putting them into practice!
If appointed -
basic rate £10.75 per hour 16+ hours per week overtime will be required
Main Duties and Responsibilities.
Personal care Contribute to the development of my individualized and achievable Person-Centered Plan.
Support and enable me to.
Do personal care.
Attend key appointments.
• Assist me on my weekly
• Assist with shopping ect.
• Increase socialization.
• Undertake tasks as required and agreed with client.
Required skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Integrity, ethics and non-judgmental approach.
• Commitment to support and explore new opportunities.
• Empathy, discretion, and resilience.
• Respect for boundaries.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Ability to build relationships and trust.
• Experience of working with complex problems including physical and emotional issues.
Support is provided by 1 or 2 PA's at any one time - hours are generally between 7.30am-11pm
