I'm looking for an IT Business Analyst in Glasgow on a 6 Month Contract. Previous experience of working in a BA role in another Higher Education institution is important for the role.


Location: Glasgow (Hybrid Up to 2 days per week)
Rate: £435pd Inside IR35 (Umbrella Rate)

This Business Analyst role will report to the Project Delivery lead within the Programme Delivery Directorate, working in partnership with Information Services colleagues across IT and the Library. You will provide strong Business Analysis skills, leading colleagues in system discovery, understanding user requirements, gap analysis, identifying development opportunities, data mapping, and capturing business processes for solution design to inform the implementation phase of a large, complex systems replacement project.

Skills/Experience Required;

  • Practical experience in business analysis, utilising business analysis methods to document data structures and business processes and defining business requirements.
  • Practical experience of stakeholder engagement and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders throughout the development cycle and beyond.
  • Experience in translating business process information and requirements (as-is) to conceptualise the information as a technology solution (to-be).
