Summary
This is a full time, permanent role, working 37 hours per week.
Day to day duties of the role
To manage delivery, co-ordination and development of maths courses to include GCSE, Functional Skills and vocational staff training.
To manage timetabling of the provision and allocate resources to ensure high standard tuition.
To support, motivate and develop staff who can deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment.
Co-ordination and delivery of CPD sessions and staff INSET.
Required skills and qualifications
A relevant degree / professional qualification
Relevant successful teaching experience in GCSE maths and Functional Skills.
Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.
Computer literacy / ability to use data systems and analyse performance data
