Summary
Your new company
Actively participate with the efficient and safe operation of the Venue, in line with Council policies and procedures and best practice, and with creating a welcoming environment that delivers excellent customer service to all visitors.
Your new role
Proactively support the successful delivery of all activities taking place within a multipurpose venue, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Activities within the venue include, but are not limited to, theatre performances, conferences and meetings, Council events, museum, heritage and arts exhibitions.
Provide a high standard cleaning service throughout all areas of the Braid.
The location of this post is in Ballymena, but the post holder may be required to work in any area of the Borough as the post dictates.
Successful candidates will be required to work on a rota basis, 37 hours per week (Monday to Saturday including evenings).
Given the nature of their duties, the post holder will be expected to work outside these hours on Sundays and public holidays as dictated by the needs of the service.
What you'll need to succeed
Have a minimum of 5 GCSEs to include English Language and Maths (grade C or above) or equivalent qualifications to demonstrate literacy and numeracy
One year's experience of operational assistance in a customer-facing role.
OR
Be able to demonstrate, by providing personal and specific examples, that they have at least three years' experience of operational assistance in a customer-facing role.
Either hold a valid First Aid qualification or indicate willingness to participate in First Aid training.
