Summary
I am a 20 year old psychology student at the University of Edinburgh with a passion for understanding the mind and how it works. In my spare time I enjoy crocheting, gaming and watching/listening to true crime shows. I am looking to build a team of personal assistants to support my independent living. If you’re a caring person and you enjoy a good conversation this could be a great fit!
Duties include help with university and going out, and support at home. The position involves personal care and support with all aspects of daily living. Please see attached job description for further details. Experience with manual handling and using a hoist is desirable, but relevant training will be provided.
This role involves both day and night shifts. Night shifts are waking shifts, being PA being awake and alert.
The employer is looking for someone to commit long-term, and develop a good working relationship with employer and rest of the PA team.
Role:
Hours: flexible availability of shifts
Rate of pay: £12.44
Shift pattern is 12 hours per shift. This may be flexible.
We are looking for multiple positions so there is a lot of flexibility for how many shifts you can do. Looking to fill multiple positions.
A PVG / Disclosure Scotland membership required or willingness to join.
