Summary

This role is to provide cover as a Business Support officer responsible for supporting the councils ERP system, Unit4, with a particular focus on advice, training delivery and maintaining the hierarchy. The ideal candidate will have a background ideally in Unit4 but other similar roles and experience would be desirable. If you have experience of hierarchy maintenance, support end users and/or designing and delivering training and support to all levels of staff this is the job for you.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Maintain the Hierarchy within Unit4
Provide advice and support for Unit4 transactional processes e.g. pay data, requisitioning.
Supporting the system maintenance updates and investigating/troubleshooting errors that may arise relating to the hierarchy.
This role would suit someone with IT experience in ERP applications and knowledge of Microsoft Office. The role requires excellent communication skills and an ability to interpret and present data in a meaningful way. A pro-active and positive attitude with the ability to manage priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment is key.

An understanding of finance and payroll processes is vital to support team members in creating a positive and effective working environment and maintain customer relationships. Proven experience of analysing and documenting complex business processes to ensure procedures are effective and completed successfully is also required.
