Summary

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Learning and Development team to develop and support the implementation of a training and development program for the Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services (ADRS).

The post holder will work across localities to support various professional groups access relevant training and developmental opportunities.

The post holder will be required to co-ordinate, develop, deliver training opportunities that are relevant to the workforce. They will carry this out for an integrated workforce consisting of social care, allied health professional and nursing staff. They will link with other professional leads to ensure training/development needs are reflective and suitable to the needs of the service.

The post will be in the Learning Development team and will be managed by the Team Leader and supported in their role by Glasgow ADRS.

The post requires applicants to have relevant degree and would be desirable if you have the PDA in Practice Learning or equivalent.

These posts are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).

This post is temporary for a period up to 2 years.
