An opportunity has arisen to join a leading registered provider of affordable housing based in Oxfordshire, committed to creating a safe, healthy, and comfortable living environment for residents. You will join a wider mission to ensure that everyone has access to high-quality, affordable homes.
As a Damp and Mould Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and managing damp and mould issues within housing stock. Your expertise will help maintain homes to the highest of standards for residents, ensuring their homes are safe and healthy.
Your responsibilities will involve conducing thorough surveys of properties in order to identify damp and mould issues. You will help to diagnose the causes of damp and recommend approaches for remedial actions. As part of your role, you will prepare detailed reports and action plans for addressing identified issues, working closely with a framework contractor to ensure a timely and effective resolution.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate proven experience in damp and mould surveying, preferably within the social housing sector. Possessing excellent knowledge of building construction and pathology will be important, as well as possessing excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
