4.6 CLEANER - GRADE A CLEANER REQUIRED
10 hours per week, 2 hours per day (either morning or evening work) to start as soon as possible.The governing body would like to appoint a cleaner. Please refer to the Cleaner job description attached.
In accordance with Single Status, their main duties are as follows:
To provide an efficient and effective cleaning service in specified areas of the school in accordance with health and safety instructions including COSHH.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· To clean designated areas of the school in accordance with the building cleaning specification as directed by the cleaning supervisor / line manager.
· To operate all cleaning machinery in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions in accordance with health and safety instructions
· To clean and maintain all work equipment in complying with manufacturer’s instructions.
· To use cleaning, chemicals and materials in accordance with COSHH and other relevant health and safety procedures
· To collect and remove waste / rubbish from designated areas to collection points as directed.
· To comply with all procedures and instructions relating to school security and confidentiality.
23 days annual leave to be taken during school holidays
