Passenger Transport – Community Companions

Ready to make a positive impact on vital transportation services? Join us as an Area Coordinator in the Passenger Transport Unit! Your focus will be on driving the delivery and procurement of services for children and adults accessing transport to educational and care facilities.

As an Area Coordinator, you will organise, administrate, and source appropriate transport whilst responding promptly to requests from Adult & Childcare Services. This role also involves conducting thorough risk assessments for service users, prioritising the health and safety of passengers and other associates.

To excel in this role, you should possess a solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and have hands on experience working with SEND children or elderly/disabled clients. A minimum requirement is an HNC or equivalent qualification, along with creative problem-solving skills and excellent ICT proficiency.
