What You'll Be Doing

We are seeking a passionate and skilled horticulturalist to help maintain our iconic cemeteries. In this role, you'll carry out a variety of tasks like mowing, hedge cutting, planting, turf maintenance, and pruning, while also ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of equipment.

Beyond horticulture, you'll need to perform some basic administrative tasks, so being IT literate is helpful, but training would be given. You'll collaborate with other team members, and ensure each site remains a beautiful and respectful space.

The role requires you to travel around the north region, so a drivers licence is essential. Due to the nature of the role, regular overnight stays are required during peak season, of which we will cover costs.

If you love working outdoors and want to make a meaningful impact, apply today to join our team where our gardeners make up over half our workforce!

What You Need to Have

  • Horticultural qualification OR practical experience within horticulture
  • Experience with a wide range of garden machinery
  • Understanding of good health & safety practises
  • Full UK driver's license (Manual)
  • Punctual, self-motivated, trustworthy, and reliable
