The Role: We are looking for a reliable anddedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will beresponsible for supervising classes during the absence of teaching staff,ensuring that students continue to learn in a safe and productive environment.This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about education andwant to make a positive impact on students' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during the absence of the regular teacher
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
- Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies
- Provide support and assistance to students as needed
- Liaise with teaching staff to ensure smooth transitions between lessons
- Report any issues or concerns to senior staff
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a school environment is desirable
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
- Adaptable and able to handle a variety of subjects and age groups
- A genuine interest in supporting the education and development of young people
- Relevant qualifications or certifications are an advantage
