Hussains General Store is looking for a Shopkeeper to manage our store located in a vibrant and diverse community. This is a full-time role offering a salary of £39,000 per annum for 37.5 hours a week. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations and ensure that the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities Include:
Managing stock, handling transactions, and maintaining a well-organised store.
Serving customers and addressing their needs.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Communicating effectively with customers, especially those who speak Urdu or Punjabi.
Requirements:
Previous retail or shopkeeping experience.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a store independently.
Fluency in Urdu or Punjabi is essential to serve the local customer base effectively.
