Summary
Based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, MA Brothers Wholesale Limited specializes in providing high quality South Asian food products. Our company has been a cornerstone for the local migrant community since the 1960s. We further solidified our space in the community when we added our wholesale centre in 2009. We are now proud to announce our business is continuing to go strong, and with that the opportunity for a warehouse manager to join our team. This position is well-suited to a hard-working person who is looking to further themselves within the grocery industry.
This position is based in our wholesale centre on Elswick Road, in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Responsibilities:
Develop & affectively implement strategies to achieve sales targets
Manage & motivate the wholesale team
Co-ordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
Monitor market trends, & competitor activities, to identify opportunities for growth
Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions
Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and effectively
Requirements:
Be comfortable leading a team
Overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse
Maintaining warehouse safety standards for all staff and customers
Have strong organisational abilities
Must have customer service abilities, such as being at ease talking with customers about their needs/wants
Time management is essential
Must be able to identify sales trends; i.e. identify products that are selling well, therefore ensuring to keep stocks up
Managerial experience is preferred
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors or Master degree preferred
Managerial and Warehouse experience preferred
Multi-lingual: not required, but preferred
Job Details;
£38,700 per annum
Full-Time 37.5hours per week
