Location East Knoyle, Salisbury
Hours 6 hours per week / Monday & Friday afternoons
Payrate £13.50 per hour
Holiday 5.6 weeks per year including bank holidays (pro rata for part time)
Driving Licence Yes - Preferrable
DBS Check Yes - will be funded by the employer
A bit about me:
I am a 69 year old man who lives in my family home. I enjoy meeting people and getting out and about. I enjoy all sports especially Formula 1 and motor sports. I used to enjoy driving racing cars. I have many interests which include traction engines. I used to be involved with the Great Dorset Steam Fair. I now have limited mobility and use of one hand. I use a wheelchair and have both an electric powered and a collapsible wheelchair, however, I do require a little assistance and supervision when transferring.
About the role:
I need support to keep me safe whilst at home or if we are out and about in the community. This role does not involve personal care.
The kind of person I am looking for:
I am looking for someone who is friendly and approachable. Responsible, reliable and trustworthy. You must have good communication skills and be patient and understanding of people with limited mobility.
