Summary
Mainly dealership to dealership movements.
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to join our team on a self employed basis.
As a driver, you will be responsible for inspecting vehicles using an app and collecting/delivering vehicles to various locations in the UK for a set price per delivery.
The position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to drive safely and a strong attention to detail. You will also be required to use google maps to get from one location to another if required.
With this being a self-employed role hours will differ, some days will be short and some days will be long depending on the run for that day.
Responsibilities:
- Phoning collection point to double check vehicle is on site.
- Be able to get from one location to another using public transport (use of google maps). (Public transport / fuel costs paid for by the company).
- Be trustworthy and have good time management skills.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role would be beneficial but full training can be provided.
- Must be over 25 (for insurance purposes and hold a clean valid UK driving license. Must have held for 5 years (for insurance purposes).
- Must have a driveway to keep vehicles off road when needed overnight (vehicles are untaxed).
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems.
- Strong verbal attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
We offer competitive pay for this position based on a flat rate of £25 for the first 50 miles then 30p per mile after this per job.
