Summary

What’s your favourite agile approach? Scrum, Kanban, Lean or something else?

We’re looking for agile delivery managers to manage multi-disciplinary teams who have experience of delivering software in an agile environment, in multiple phases.

Our teams and our delivery managers work on stuff that impacts some of the most vulnerable people in society. We’re looking for people who are as motivated by that unique purpose as we are.

DWP Digital are delivering transformed integration solutions to enable and drive an enterprise strategy based on reuse of common IT capabilities, central to which is an API and event driven architecture.

The Digital Integration team have a huge portfolio of systems and are in the midst of replacing most of these legacy integration systems with new, modern, in-house services.

There is barely a project in DWP that does not need integration services so, the teams are involved in almost everything that Digital does. We also provide integration to numerous other government projects.

You'll be a true leader who serves, steering from the front. You'll remove blockers and create the right environment for your multidisciplinary teams to succeed, helping them to self-sufficiency and creating a culture of learning and transparency.

We’re looking for someone who can do the hands-on delivery of products and end to end services. You will see them through from initiation to live.

You will use your agile expertise to build a culture of continuous improvement with high performing teams.

You will promote user-centred design, applying it to the software development lifecycle.

It’s a complex landscape and you’ll need your skills as a persuasive and engaging communicator. You’ll solve cross-cutting problems and use your experience of delivery to get the job done.

Day-to-day you will be working with experts in software engineering, business process design, user research, user experience design and policy development.

You’ll join a thriving community of practice, where you'll share best practice, insight and support with a bunch of other talented, expert Agile Delivery Managers.
