Summary
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated senior or semi-senior accountant within our well established practice in Wigan.
We will consider applicants looking for both full time or part time employment.
The post will work alongside fellow senior accountants and liaise with our VAT and payroll departments.
The role will include a variety of duties including but not limited to;
- client management and building relationships
- preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships to final stage
- complete tax returns and computations - personal, partnership and companies
- using a variety of accountancy software including Sage and Xero
- VAT experience would also be an advantage
The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years working within a practice background. AAT/ACCA/ACA qualifications are an advantage however we will give equal consideration to experienced candidates who do not have formal qualifications.
The successful candidate will be highly professional and organised. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and be computer literate along with the ability to use various accounting software packages.

Salary Negotiable.
30 days holiday including bank holidays.
