Job Overview:
Our Stockport based large manufacturing client are eagerly seeking an experienced CNC Setter/ Operator.
You will be working as part of a small team on a shift system basis . The role involves the setting and operating of various cnc machinery working to engineering drawings.
• Must have CNC experience
• Good time keeping
• Willing to rotate days and nights – Nights may not be required.
Responsibilities
• Ensuring the machine is set correctly as per the documentation.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on the machines as per the documents provided.
• Enforce company policies and disciplinary processes, working with the team on creating a high-performance culture
• Identify, communicate and escalate any equipment that requires urgent maintenance or safety /quality related issues.
• Comply with all safe working procedures, practices, rules, regulations and instructions given by management.
• Comply with all applicable HS&E environmental regulations.
• Ensure that the highest level of housekeeping standards is always maintained within the designated production area and across the site.
