Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for two nurses to join the Acute Research Delivery Team (ARDT) permanently as Research Nurses at Salford Care Organisation.
The ARDT works a 5 day extended hours service covering long days. There is no bank-holiday or weekend working.
You will be delivering clinical trials across our four research portfolios. These are Trauma and Emergency Care (TEC), Critical Care, Hyper Acute Stroke and Neurosurgical. It is desirable to have prior experience in one or more of these clinical research settings, but it is not essential.
Some of your key responsibilities will likely include:
• Screening and recruiting eligible participants.
• Educating participants about the study and obtaining informed consent
• Collecting and recording study data accurately, in accordance with GCP
• Administering interventions and treatments as per the study protocol
• Monitoring participants safety and reporting adverse events.
• Ensuring that study documentation is maintained and stored securely
To be successful in this role, you need to have strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills, be organised and detail orientated.
