Forest School Teaching Assistant
Are you passionate about outdoor learning and supporting children in discovering the wonders of nature? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Forest School Teaching Assistant to join our primary school in Cardiff for 4 days per week.
As a Forest School Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the Forest School Leader in planning and delivering engaging outdoor sessions.
- Help children develop confidence, resilience, and teamwork through outdoor activities.
- Assist with preparing, maintaining, and managing resources for outdoor learning.
- Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Promote environmental awareness and foster a love of nature.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children, preferably in an outdoor or educational setting.
- Has a keen interest in outdoor learning and is willing to undertake Forest School training if required.
- Is enthusiastic, patient, and supportive.
- Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
