Summary
Newcastle College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Support Coordinator to join a passionate team that supports the achievements of students with additional learning needs and or disabilities including young people and adults.
As a Support Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the educational experience for our students. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage a team of support staff who provide direct support to students within the classroom setting. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to ensure that students, receive the high-quality support necessary to achieve their full potential.
As the successful candidate, you will be an enthusiastic and adaptable person, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to inclusive education. You will be educated to degree level or have significant relevant experience in Education and have undertaken leadership and management training. You too will have experience of managing a large team and be able to work flexibly, including evening work, and supporting at our off-site provision.
