Qualiteach Yorkshire are currently looking to recruit an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist school in Leeds.
The school are seeking to appoint a candidate to work alongside a Year 1 learner with Autism, therefore previous experience supporting learners with Special Educational Needs is essential for this post.
Duties of the role:
· Devising sensory activities
· 1:1 support
· Leading small group activities
· Providing feedback to both school SENCo and the Class Teacher
What you will need:
· A range of behaviour management techniques
· To have worked with learners with a range of needs
· The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
· Passion and enthusiasm for working with children/young people with Special Educational Needs
