As Night Warehouse Manager, you’ll be joining our business as a key member of the management team; you will lead a team of Supervisors, loaders, sorters and drivers in processing parcels ensuring they are dispatched in line with Customer SLA’s.

Shift Pattern - Wednesday - Sunday

Hours of work - 23.00pm - 08.00am

Location - Stockton-on- Tees depot - TS18 3SE

Full-time - permanent

Salary - £40,000 p/a

You will be responsible for the performance of the night operation whilst proactively seeking ways to improve cost, service and operational efficiency. You will ensure all resources including permanent staff, agency workers and contractor drivers are managed, planned and controlled to achieve the agreed service levels. Stockton-on-Tees depot is a key hub, in our network, so we need to be sure that we can hit targets and SLA’s, we only recruit great Supervisors and Managers.

Warehouse Manager duties:

    • Manage all areas of the night sortation in an efficient cost-effective manner
    • Maintain quality standards.
    • Ensure team productivity targets are achieved, including key KPI’s
    • Budget management to achieve the agreed service levels including productivity, labour costs and agency usage etc.
    • Maintaining the health, safety and security of all employees and visitors to site. This includes providing induction training to all staff and contractors to ensure they are able to undertake their duties effectively, efficiently and safely.

    Warehouse Manager requirements:

      • Must have management experience of at least 1 year ideally within the parcel industry
      • Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work.
      • Knowledge of H&S legislation
      • Good PC skills
