Crynodeb
The critical care units are staffed by trainees from Anaesthesia undergoing ICM training at StR level as required by the Royal College of Anaesthetists, ACCS doctors, IM2 and F2 doctors, Advanced Critical Care Practitioners and in the case of the NGH, an additional group of trainees training for a CCT in ICM. Whilst in post there will be plenty of opportunity to become involved in teaching, audit and research. The trust run local courses for both the primary and final FRCA and strongly encourage clinical fellows to take part in those as needed. The post holder will be expected to contribute to daytime activity and to take part in the out of hours on-call rota which is currently a 1 in 8.
