Summary

Job Purpose

The post holder will focus primarily on larger infrastructure installation and migration projects, deploying equipment in support of digital projects, rolling replacement programmes, as well as the installation of software solutions.

The key objectives of this role are to:

To implement infrastructure rollout projects across the organisation using a range of technologies and products.

Key Results Area

Prepare/configure/deploy IT equipment and install software solutions across muti-site locations.
Maintain IT asset management inventories.
Assist the infrastructure project delivery lead with project rollout planning.
Liaise with suppliers and third-party IT companies to gather important information required to complete project work.
Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior IT management.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for all configurations, procedures, and changes made to end user systems.
Work closely with other IT teams, such as infrastructure and business systems teams, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Ensuring all rollout activities comply with company policies, procedures, and IT security standards.
Provide emergency cover or assistance to other members of the support desk team as when required.
