Summary
Permanent position (hours negotiable)
We are a busy, remote and rural training practice with around 5,500 patients, located in Portree on the Isle of Skye. We are looking to welcome an enthusiastic and highly motivated Nurse to join our friendly team. We’re ideally looking to hear from candidates with prior Practice Nurse experience, but would also be interested to receive applications from qualified nurses who would like to move into General Practice.
The role is varied and will encompass tasks such as management of long-term conditions, wound care, cervical screening and phlebotomy support when needed. The successful candidate will possess good communication skills with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of our team. Long-term Condition Management and Non-Medical Prescribing qualifications are highly desirable, along with experience of interpreting long-term condition bloods.
Competent IT skills are also necessary.
Rate: £21.72/hr
Hours: Negotiable, but minimum 3 days per week
(c. 22.5 – 35hrs)
