SC1(2) pro rata term time only plus 25 hours.
Witton Middle School in Droitwich Spa, wish to appoint a Cleaner to join a hardworking team. The post is required for 12.5 hours per week term time 3 – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, plus 25 hours during the summer holiday to undertake a deep clean (working pattern to be agreed). Previous experience of working in a school or education setting would be desirable but not essential.
You will be responsible for a wide range of cleaning duties and responsibilities, which include ensuring that the school is cleaned every day to the required standard/specification. Working safely using protective clothing, correct warning signs and equipment, being mindful of hazards to other staff and pupils. Full training will be given. You will need to be physically fit, be reliable, punctual and have excellent attendance, possess a flexible and adaptable approach to working patterns and job task, observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties, be a team player, personable, emotionally intelligent with a sense of humour.
