Are you an innovative project professional who’s keen to embrace future technologies, and play a key role in ensuring the railway is safe and reliable?

Do you have experience in delivering high value, highly complex programmes, or working with Infrastructure Monitoring Technologies which make a real difference to business performance?

Do you want to play a key role in the future of Network Rail’s Infrastructure Monitoring Strategy and Service?

If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

We are looking for an experienced Senior Programme Manager, with a proven track record in developing, controlling, and delivering investment programmes to join our Infrastructure Monitoring (IM) team. The role will lead an exciting programme to deliver change, and long-term improvement in the IM fleet, Systems and Service Performance to our Customers. Ensuring they receive the data they need, when they need it.

What is Infrastructure Monitoring?

Our fleet of bespoke trains complete c300,000 miles annually covering the national rail network.
These specialised trains provide the mechanism to collect vital data, that is then processed and analysed to identify track compliance and inform engineers of their track condition. This data highlights sections of track that require maintenance and renewals, thus ensuring Network Rail’s infrastructure remains safe and operational.
This role will own and deliver NR’s IM Investment programme to transform the way we collect and provide data to our customers. Leading on customer engagement, strategy, sustainability, business change, and brining new innovation into the future IM service.
