Summary
Title: Warehouse Operative / Warehouse Assistant The Best Connection Group Limited are currently recruiting for several Warehouse Operatives / Order Pickers, on behalf of one of our well-known clients in the Crewe area.
This is a temporary role which starts from 5th December onwards.
This position is eligible for a £250 Christmas bonus for attending all scheduled shifts.
Job details: Case picking / order picking chilled goods ready for loading Pallet pulling and filling empty pallets with picked orders No heavy lifting, but manual handling will be required due to repetitive nature of work Working in a cold environment, in temperatures of around 4 degrees Working 4 or 5 days per week, 10-12 hour shifts Daily duties will include: Order picking in large volumes / case picking General warehousing Organising pallets with picked orders / pallet pulling Working in a fast-paced environment Ensuring warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times The ideal candidate must: Be able to read and fill out relevant paperwork efficiently Be able to use handheld scanners Be able to work independently Work efficiently to meet deadlines Be able to communicate effectively Due to the nature of work all candidates must have a suitable level of English, in order to pick stock correctly.
Any experience case picking is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
Working hours for this position are 10-12 hour shifts, depending on daily orders. Working from 8am until finish. Guaranteed minimum 10 hours pay per day. You will be working any 4 or 5 days over 7, so weekend availability is required.
The hourly rate for this role is £12.50 per hour, plus £250 bonus for attending all scheduled shifts.
