Falkirk Education Services are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic senior leader to lead strategic improvements across primary schools in Falkirk. This post provides an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic Senior Leadership Team with a successful forward thinking local authority.


You will have the lead strategic role in the planning, implementation and evaluation of priority work streams and activity relating to primary schools as well as authority-wide responsibility.

You will have a comprehensive understanding of quality improvement in an education setting. You will have sound knowledge of current national priorities and drivers which improve outcomes for children, young people and families.

You will have excellent communication skills and be responsive to the needs of a range of audiences, both orally and in the written form. You will have a well-developed ability to prioritise and work under your own initiative and as part of the wider quality improvement team.

You will have proven analytical and problem solving skills, with an ability to plan and respond to emerging priorities.

You will work 35 hours per week.
