Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Designer to join our fast-paced Marketing and Communications team on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months.

This is a pivotal role within our 10-member team, which covers a diverse range of responsibilities, including brand management, digital and print design, PR, social media, and more. Reporting to the Studio Design Manager.

This post is full time working an average of 36.25 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and is fixed term for up to 12 months to cover maternity leave.

What you will be doing:
  • Delivering high-quality print and digital designs, ensuring projects are completed on time and align with organisational goals.
  • Leading design projects from concept to completion, working with clients to meet briefs while maintaining adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Continuously suggest and implement improvements to the brand’s visual identity and literature.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, presenting creative ideas and working through revisions to meet expectations.
  • Stay up to date with new design techniques, including animation, to enhance and diversify Jewish Care’s content output.
  • Ensure consistency across all marketing and event materials.

What you will need:

  • Strong experience in both print and digital design.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion, adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with animation tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present creative ideas to clients and stakeholders.
  • Enthusiasm for Jewish Care’s mission and values, with a passion for using design and content to enhance engagement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects.
