Summary
Howard Hindson & Son in Middlesbrough are recruiting for an Apprentice Upholsterer. The successful candidate will work towards their Level 2 Furniture Occupations qualification which will take approximately 24 months to complete.
Duties:
• To learn all aspects of upholstery
• Stripping down furniture
• Preparing to upholster items
• Leading and carrying upholstery work in a busy workshop
• Follow instructions and workload issued by the Production Manager
• Keep a clean, tidy and organised work environment at all times
• Keep tools and equipment in good working order
Requirements:
• Must have a strong work ethic
• Attention to detail
• Reliable
• Honest
• Punctual
Grades:
Grades A*-C/9-4 in Maths and English
Hours:
Mon - Fri 8:00am - 17:00pm / unpaid 1 hours lunch / 40 hours per week
