Summary
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is an Inherited Cardiac Condition (ICC), for which the management options have evolved significantly in the last few years. Recently published international guidelines and national papers have recommended an updated care pathway for obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy patients which include medical and interventional options. With the aim of enhancing access to all the options available for improving outcomes in this patient cohort, dedicated work is required to develop an efficient and patient-centred model of care. The advertised post is aiming to achieve the implementation of an up-to-date care model for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy utilising multidisciplinary input and cross-institutional collaboration. Clinical skills and skills in cardiac imaging will be important for the delivery of the role.
