Hours: 26 hours per week (over 4 days to be agreed)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be the Human Resource Manager for CISWO, a national charity whose mission is to improve the lives of individuals and communities facing disadvantage due to the impact of the coal industry.



The post is based at our Head Office in Rotherham and will be responsible for all aspects of HR for employees based in several locations in the UK.



You will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive HR service to the organisation. This will include, employee relations, recruitment, and performance management, whilst also contributing to the overall development of HR strategy, ensuring that the organisation’s policies, procedures and practice comply with legislation and good practice. You will also be responsible for advising and coaching line managers on all areas of HR.



You should have substantial experience of working at a management level within HR with a relevant HR qualification. You will have experience of developing and updating policies and implementing new systems and processes and facilitating change. Experience of working for a charity or within the social care sector would be an advantage. You should also have strong working knowledge of employment regulations and legislation with a hands-on approach.



You will need excellent IT skills, the ability to prioritise and good attention to detail. Excellent time management skills, problem solving and strong communication skills are essential.



You will also need a full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle along with flexibility to travel across a wide geographic area with occasional overnight stays.
