Summary
An exciting position has arisen at our term time only nursery in Tower Hamlets and we are recruiting for a full-time nursery practitioner to join our friendly and experienced team working with children aged 2-3 years.
Start date: 6th January 2025
Hours: 8am – 4.30pm (fixed)
Term time only
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, the ability to work as part of a team, be reliable and have the energy, passion and commitment to working with young children.
Requirements of role
- A full and relevant level 3 or above in early years.
- A very experienced level 2 would be considered.
- A thorough understanding of the EYFS and Birth to 5 matters.
- At least 2 years’ experience of working in an early years setting.
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS statutory requirements.
- The ability to observe and plan for children learning.
- Prior experience of working with young children with SEND.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of being a Key person to a number of children and maintaining regular contact with parents and outside professionals.
- A positive attitude and good work ethic
The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check (paid for by the company) and satisfactory employment references.
