Summary
Recycling Operative
Taskmaster Recruitment are looking for a Recycling Operative to work for our client based at their site in Thriplow, Cambridge.
Rotational Shifts: This will be on a rolling rota so weekend work will be required. The hours are 7.30am - 4pm - 5 days a week (Monday to Sunday role, however covering 5 days in a 7-day period).
Pay rate: £12.00 per hour.
Duties may include:
• Sorting recyclables into correct areas.
• Use machinery to feed recycling waste for processing.
• Inspect materials for any contaminations.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Meet the requirements of audits and cleaning specifications.
• Ensure the correct protective equipment is correctly worn at all times.
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards of health and safety.
• After a qualifying period our client would like the successful candidate to progress onto a Team Leader position.
Desirable skills and attributes:
• Being physically fit for this role is essential.
• Able to use own initiative.
• Proactive approach.
• Organised and able to manage their own time effectively.
• Communicate with people at all levels.
• Follow health and safety rules.
• Ensure high standards of professionalism at all times.
• Be flexible to adapt to changing demands and conditions.
• Works harmoniously with others to get the job done.
• Be confident to take on a supervisory role after a qualifying period.
